Concord, NC 4/9/07- What do the Indianapolis Colts, UFC fighter Tim “The Maniac” Sylvia, Playboy Playmate Jami Farrell, and Tex Motorsports have in common? They all are part of team Fatheadz!
Owner of Tex Motorsports Marketing, Chris Ragle, is proud to announce that Fatheadz Eyewear will join the Tex Motorsports Marketing contingency program. Fatheadz Eyewear is the innovator of sunglasses for people with a large head. No we aren’t talking about people who think they are more than what they are; we are talking about sunglasses designed for the desired look and fit of Fatheadz CEO Rico Elmore.
The concept and name came from Elmore several years back when himself and his brother were in Las Vegas and noticed that he didn’t have his sunglasses. After looking half the day at more than 300 pairs of sunglasses, Elmore had no luck finding any that fit his large head size. This incident created an opportunity for Elmore and his concept for a company to produce and distribute sunglasses for people with “fat” heads, hence the name Fatheadz. The company isn’t solely dedicated to producing oversized sunglasses alone they also produce your standard size shades in both plastic and wired frames as well as their new stylish frames for your Rx lenses.
As part of their participation in the program Fatheadz will be the “Official Eyewear of Tex Motorsports Marketing,” provide one pair of Fatheadz sunglasses to each registered contingency program participant, a $50 gift certificate to participants that win a race, and a $100 gift certificate to those who win a championship in the 2007 season.
“This is great to have a company and product as superior as Fatheadz involved in our program. They have stylish products that will be great for our drivers; I know they will look good and love their Fatheadz shades. There is just something about racers and their sunglasses, I guess they always have them on and I’m just glad to have Fatheadz apart of that,” stated Ragle.
