The Translucent Grey and Brown frames, along with the Clear, could more accurately be described as 'Frosted'. The lenses in these sunglasses, available in Smoke, Amber, Glacier Blue and Volcanic Red, are the best the industry has to offer. Injection Polarized Polycarbonate lenses (polycarbonate is what fighter jet canopies are made from) are durable, scratch resisitant and provide 100% UV Protection. We've added hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings to resist water and oil, an anti-reflective coating to the back side and a flash mirror coating to the front side. For more info on these lenses look at our V2.0 Lens Technology page (click here). Both the Glacier Blue and Volcanic Red lens options include a matching Fatheadz "F" metal insert in the temples. You won't see the world with a red or blue tint, they just appear to be red or blue, the lenses are actually smoke colored. Included with these premium sunglasses is a microfiber cleaning/storage bag and a zippered case for safe storage.

Having a larger than average skull, I've always struggled finding sunglasses that fit. Fatheadz are fantastic! I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer.

Like most shopping here, I have a fairly large noggin' and never can find sunglasses that look good on my head that requires a size 8 baseball cap. That's why Fatheadz is my go to place for getting sunglasses.

The Modello is the most recent pair that I've purchased and I love them. They're probably the smallest size that will fit me well at 152mm wide, as they're very, very slightly snug on the sides compared to the larger ones. But they still feel comfortable and, best of all, they look fantastic on me.

i could never find sunglasses that didnt squeeze my head. These sunglasses are perfect and for the first time I know what its like to wear ones that fit. Cant wait to see what other new styles will be coming out.

Thank you for making sunglasses that fit a large head. There is nothing so terrible as sunglasses so small that they make you look "squinty-eyed". These make my face look normal and provide sun protection as well.

I had owned a pair of "The Don" sunglasses previously and was upset when they got lost. I thought I would try a new style and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The "Modello" are definitely wide (and can't imagine these are "one of our smaller frames"), but I like the fact that they don't squeeze the side of my head and leave marks after wearing for a few minutes. If you have a large melon and are tired of sunglasses that look like they're made for an 8-year-old, then the "Modello" is exactly what you are looking for.

These Fit MY FAT Head. Im not overly huge, but I cant handle glasses pinching the side of my head, gives me headaches and these dont. There comfortable and well made, however the lenses area is REALLY Wide and if the front of your face isnt really wide, it may look a little funny to a spouse or girlfriend. If you dont have to impress someone, get them there worth it and they dont allow the sun to sneak in around the edges.
